Reception on occasion of French National Day

She stated that her country will continue to support reforms Serbia is implementing, in the field of economy, progress in rule of law, judiciary and state administration, human rights and media freedoms.

Moro also said that Serbia and France foster fraternal relations and relations of trust.

We backed Serbia in all projects, primarily the European one, and in all difficult moments. Also, Serbia was with us in January, after terrorist attacks in Paris, and we do not forget that, the ambassador noted.

Moro pointed to the importance of reconciliation in the Balkans, adding that important steps have been made this year in that respect, citing the example of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, who paid tribute to the Muslim victims of Srebrenica crime on Saturday and extended a hand of reconciliation.
