The School of Friendship will accept many children who have lost their closest family, and give them an opportunity to have fun for the next several weeks, with many activities planned.

The school was opened this year by Serbian tennis star Ana Ivanović who said that it was an honor for her, in the name of all athletes, to open the camp.

Some of the children come from Kosovo and often lack the bear essentials for establishing a normal life.

Jovan Radić from Orahovac said that it is difficult to live in that town.

“We have a limit of 500 meters for moving around. We are not allowed to go to the Albanian side because it is risky,” he said.

The goal of the camp is for the kids to have fun through activities that will help them learn about things they need for everyday life.

“Our main idea is to help them be the best students they can be,” Đilas said.

Our Serbia has been active for seven years and has since included about 1,000 children in its activities.
