“Our main idea is to help them be the best students they can be,” Đilas said.

This is a great idea and, as an educator, I'd wish that this project also includes yound Croats and Muslims, so they can learn to live together in peace, respect, brotherhood and cooperation.

At last, I will paraphrase mr Dilas: «Our main idea is to help them be the best citizens they can be.»

"My wife has young cousins who father died and are refugees from Krajina and live in what is little more then a shack."

Then send them money for a home or apartment. A smaller amount of money goes further in Serbia. And weren't you one of the ones here bragging about your job/income in the financing industry recently?

This is wonderful. These children need love and support and understanding or when they grow up we will have another repeat of the same issues that so often plague this region.

I would like to see it include Albanian, Bosniak and Croatian children as well if possible. I know it might be hard at first, but all these children who suffered so horribly must be taught to view others as real people and not just aggressors.

My wife has young cousins who father died and are refugees from Krajina and live in what is little more then a shack. It breaks my heart every time I see them. They are really great kids despite all the endured and suffered.

We in the Diaspora need to do more to support our people and never to forget where we came from or how peaceful we have it in the West. It is a very different life then what these poor children have suffered and we must never forget them or their needs.

What a fantastic idea.
Can't begin to imagine what these poor children have been through.
Let's hope a few weeks at this camp will brighten up their lives.

Sounds like a great project. B92 is it possible for you to provide information on how readers can donate to this and in future to any other projects/charities whose work you report on?
