Albanian journalist promotes book in Belgrade

“This book testifies to an evil infinity of a dead-end street,” publicist Mihajlo Mijahlov said at the book’s presentation adding that “nothing has changed in eight years, with the same old rhetoric and names.”

Journalist Radmilo Kljajić gave his opinion of the book's sentiment, saying  “it was sad that Serbia adhered to the same rhetoric in its defense of Kosovo it advocated eight years ago.”

“This book is a contribution to reconcile the two nations, with the evil present on both sides,” Kljajić added.

“Fahri Musliu is a happy man – he has friends in Belgrade which proves the city is still alive,” Kljajić added while another participant of the promotion said that Serbia’s capital ceased to be a metropolis in 1989 when it “turned provincial.”

“Because of people like Musliu, I believe there’s still hope for Belgrade,” he said.

Kosovo Serb leader Momčilo Trajković said on the occasion that Fahri Musliu was his friend and compatriot whose book would demonstrate that “the Serbs and Albanians share the same misfortune.”
