Several dozen Sarajevo residents yesterday decided to throw their shoes at posters depicting leading politicians in Bosnia. This, reports say, was their way of expressing dissatisfaction with the performance of the authorities. The organizers were inspired by a recent incident in Baghdad when an Iraqi reporter threw his shoes at U.S. President George Bush during a news conference.
