Vučić: "Impudence. Form CSM, and then make requests from the Serbs..."

President Vučić commented on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.

"We are faced with great impudence coming from the big powers who say: return to the institutions... Well, why don't you form the CSM, and then ask the Serbs to return to the institutions," said Vučić.

"Are you aware what kind of drama the families of the arrested Serbs are going through? You can't read anything about the arrested Serbs... What did Pantić do? It only shows the attitude towards the Serbs and Serbia. It is not absurd to deploy foreign troops, but it is absurd for the Serbian troops to be present," added Vučić.

In response to the journalist's statement that everyone from Pristina is quoting the German ambassador and saying that Germany has shattered illusions about Serbia's dominance in the Balkans, the president says:

"We don't have any domination, we never dreamed of domination, but cooperation. We want good cooperation with Germany, but we have our own country and our own people and we want the best relations with Germany."

Regarding the request submitted by Serbia to KFOR, he said:

"I expect them to answer in the negative, they are capable of carrying out their duties and KFOR's behavior is more correct than some Western governments. They are acting in accordance with Resolution 1244 in a serious and responsible manner, unlike everyone else."

He also said that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, told him today: "Whenever you think that you are relying on international law, it is for us little ones, and that there is a stronger right for everyone else."

He agreed with that and added that the stronger ones can do whatever they want, but...

President pointed out that: "When you are cornered, you have nothing to lose".

"From now on, when we have nowhere to go, like a rat in a corner, we will defend ourselves by all means," the president said.

Vučić said that he and his Azerbaijani colleague discussed some other issues and agreed on how and what to do together.

"Baku is developing, every time I come here I see something new... When Aliyev was in Belgrade, he barely recognized the city as it was built," says Vučić and points out that "we have to develop, to push our countries, bravely and strongly to fight for our peoples".
