He made this statement when asked"whether Serbia will open its embassies "in order to forge closer ties with the Baltic countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) who are hindering Serbia in the opening (EU accession talks) chapter 31, which refers to foreign policy and security."

Dacic was then asked whether there would be any visits to those countries, "particularly to Estonia which will take over the EU presidency in the second half of 2017." The minister said that his Estonian counterpart would visit Belgrade early in the year.

"I've seen the Lithuanian and Latvian ministers in Hamburg, during the OSCE ministerial council," Dacic said.
