The Democratic Party has been ruined by those who took over after the assassination of Zoran Djindjic, says philosopher and theater director Zlatko Pakovic.

"DS ruined by those who took over after Djindjic was killed"

Pakovic added that "March brings two important dates to Serbia - March 9, which is a date of joy when the people stood up against the regime of Slobodan Milosevic, and March 12, a tragic date when Serbia killed its leader Zoran Djindjic."

"The political background of Djindjic's assassination has not been clarified, nor has the the public faced the report of the Korac Commission," he added.

Pakovic also mentioned "the columns" in which those who should be the successors of the Djindjic policy now act, to say:

"They have ruined the party they took over after the assassination. The various advisers and leaders who came after him."

When it comes to organizing a walk for Djindjic, Pakovic considers the word itself not to be serious.

"We are still talking about walks, but it does not tell the essence of political action, the word itself is frivolous. Is it a march for Djindjic? We'll have to have that too, because the people are increasingly suffering, while they are getting rich. The day will come when the people will no longer be able to suffer," he stressed.

"It is indisputable that he had awakened this society from a lethargy," concluded the director whose theater play "To Kill Zoran Djindjic" has been running for three years.

Pakovic also spoke about actor Dragan Nikolic who passed away on Friday to say he was "a great actor and a great man, a greatness of a huge format who has led a life worthy of respect."
