According to her, the system could be adopted in the beginning of 2013. EP rep: Visas can be temporarily introduced Commenting on a possibility of reintroduction of visas for the Western Balkan states, she said that the European Commission (EC) had warned a year before that visas could be introduced to certain Western Balkan countries, including Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, “People mostly travel to Sweden and Germany. Winter is coming and it is expected that the number of asylum seekers in these countries will be even higher,” Fajon said in Ljubljana. However, she said she hoped that this would not happen but stressed that the existing system should not be abused. (Beta/AP) Tanjug
