The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) announced Wednesday it could participate in a future government only if understanding is reached on what Serbia needs to do.

The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) announced Wednesday it could participate in a future government only if understanding is reached on what Serbia needs to do. We believe that we must do everything that we talked about during the campaign and that must be done to make Serbia a normal country, the LDP said in a release. LDP could join govt. “under certain conditions” The LDP can only be in a government which will have an understanding for this kind of work, and cannot be a part of the ruling coalition if its aim is the search for any kind of a parliamentary majority, the release says. The party believes that the debate on forming a government on which the coalition partners the Democratic Party (DS) insist is irresponsible at this time because it only raises the confusion in the country. The LDP says that it is clear that the government would be formed after the second round of the elections and that this can therefore be discussed then. Tanjug
