Opposition DSS deputy leader Nenad Popović says if this party is given a chance to "manage the country", it would bring Serbia EUR 10bn in Russian investments.

Opposition DSS deputy leader Nenad Popovic says if this party is given a chance to "manage the country", it would bring Serbia EUR 10bn in Russian investments. Popovic presented on Friday in Vranje the party's economic program and said that these funds will be provided directly to the domestic enterprises in the form of medium-and long-term loans with repayment period of five to ten years and a grace period of at least two years. DSS promises "EUR 10bn in Russian investment" That means reviving the domestic economy and more jobs for all citizens of Serbia, Popovic said. He said these funds will be used for development projects and construction of traffic and energy infrastructure. Popovic said he "does not have anything against funds being provided by the European Union, too", but added that it was a well-known fact that the EU was in a big crisis, and that "only Russia has the capacity to do this".
