Funny. As if Russians would invest more when there's another government. Russia 'invests' to make money, or get a good bargain, like with the NIS deal. If Russia wanted to help Serbia, they would import more Serbian good and not only deliver (well payed) oil and gas.

WOW, today we learn that Serbia is in a much stronger position than the EU. Of course we are talking about the EU loaning/donating money to help Serbia survive.
Don't get me wrong but a basis of economics is if I have money to loan/donate, and you are desperately in need of that money, I am in a better position than you.
You speak of the demands of the EU but turn a blind eye to what it is Russia demands in return.

This guy is actually right. The EU is in a mess, and is basically blowing wind out of its blow hole at the moment. I understand that this is all politics, between Serbia and Brussels, but Belgrade must now play on the weakness of the EU. They are not in a position anymore to make all the demands that they do, and certainly cannot make the promises to candidates of the EU, they once did. A strong and capable government is now needed in Belgrade, my fear is that we do not, or will not, have one. The DS is the West's favorite, the rest are running (campaigning) for their lives. If only the DS showed some more teeth towards the West, and really took Serbia's interest to heart, as the most important to us, then they would truly be a representative party. Unfortunately, I think they buckle under too much, in order to appease the Eurocrats, and the US overseas. Belgrade (DS), strength is respected, but weakness is walked on. Please act accordingly, and in our (Serbia's) interest.
