Opposition SNS party deputy leader Aleksandar Vucic has stated that Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor’s statements in Pristina are scandalous. “When Jadranka Kosor speaks of Serbia’s tyranny and tyrannical regimes that exerted aggression on Croatia and Kosovo, we have to remind her that 400,000 Croats were not expelled from Serbia, 400,000 Serbs were expelled from Croatia,” he stressed. Croatian PM’s statement scandalous, SNS official says Vucic added that the SNS would not allow Croatia or any other country to “humiliate Serbia”. The SNS deputy leader stressed that it was necessary to build “good neighborly and rational relations” between Serbia and Croatia, adding that the Croatian prime minister aside from European integrations, also needed to take care of the remaining Serbian population in Croatia. “We are glad Croatia is approaching the EU but we have to remind it that three percent of Serb villages that remained after their ‘magnificent’ operations have neither electricity nor water and it would be good to provide that before they lecture Serbia on European values,” he explained. Vucic said that the fact that the Serbian authorities did not react to Kosor’s latest statement was scandalous and added that the SNS hoped that Serbia would respond to Croatia.
