6 policemen have been suspended for overstepping their authory during the SRS demonstrations. Both the interior minister and the police chief based their decisions on the documents and information gathered during the compilation of the working group report into the facts and circumstances that led to clashes between protesters and police on July 29 in Belgrade during the public protest organized by the Serb Radical Party (SRS). The statement points out that 15 people have so far been charged with attacking police officers.
