The Tuzla canton prosecution is launching an investigation against 170 Serbs over war crimes in Zvornik. The matter concerns individuals from Bosnia-Hercegovina and Serbia who are suspected of committing genocide against Bosniaks on the territory of the Zvornik municipality in 1992. 170 investigated for Zvornik massacre There is evidence from Serbia that members of the Tigers paramilitary formation under the command of the late Zeljko Raznatovic, aka Arkan, were involved. Branko Grujic, Branko Popovic and several other direct participants are currently on trial at Belgrade County Court for the "Zvornik incident." The Tuzla prosecution received part of the documentation and evidence on the crimes in Zvornik from the Hague Tribunal, and another part from the district court and War Crimes Prosecution in Belgrade. The matter, together with all the collected information will soon be submitted for evaluation to the Bosnian Prosecution, announced the prosecutor for the Tuzla canton, Mirsada Kalaba.
