Hague Tribunal Judge Iain Bonomy says the case of former RS president Radovan Karadzic is ready to go to trial. Bonomy's recommendation to the Tribunal President Patrick Robinson will be important as the date for the trial to start is determined. Judge: Karadzic case ready for trial The judge asked the prosecution to reduce the number of their witnesses and papers that they wish to enter into evidence. Bonomy also recommended to Karadzic to prepare his defense and not to count on a possibility that the indictment against him might be thrown out. Karadzic, war-time political leader of Bosnia's Serbs, was arrested a little over a year ago in Serbia, and is charged by The Hague-based court with war crimes and genocide.
