Police stations across the country have recently put up posters announcing arrest rewards for two remaining Hague fugitives. War-time Serb Bosnian military leader Ratko Mladic, and Croatian Serb political leader Goran Hadzic are wanted by The Hague-based UN court on war crimes charges. Mladic, Hadzic arrest reward posters The warrants at the entrances to local MUP HQs state the amount of the money reward for those giving information leading to the pair's arrest, and the telephone number that those aware of the fugitive's whereabouts can call to inform the authorities. National Hague Cooperation Council President Rasim Ljajic says that this body's Action Team and MUP teamed up with the latest campaign, as was the case previously. The only new feature is that the money offered for locating of Mladic and Hadzic is now given "in net figures", he explained. Serbia is offering EUR 1mn for information leading to locating Mladic, while the price tag for the same information regarding Hadzic has been set at EUR 250,000. All the taxes, Ljajic told Tanjug in a statement on Saturday, will be paid by the state. He also reminded that those who call 9191 to inform about the war crimes suspects' whereabouts will enjoy "guaranteed secrecy of data and identity". The posters (FoNet)
