The Belgrade District Court has remanded Bosnian Serb Nenad Malic in custody for 30 days on suspicion of war crimes against the civilian population. The court's War Crimes Trial Chamber released a statement to the effect that Malic, a former member of the Republic of Srpska’s Sixth Brigade, is suspected of killing two civilians and wounding a third who was later able to escape at the Fontana motel in Stari Majdan, Bosnia-Hercegovina, on December 21, 1992.
