BELGRADE The SBB/Telemach Group was sold to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) for more than a billion euros, Beta has reported. The news agency cited "sources informed about this transaction." Cable and internet operator "sold for more than EUR 1bn" SBB is the leading cable television and internet provider in southeastern Europe. According to the sources, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) wishes to keep its stake in the company. The EBRD became the minority owner of SBB/Telemach in 2007, when the Mid Europa Partners acquired the majority stake. The company KKR announced on Oct. 15 that it signed the final agreement on the acquisition of SBB/Telemach Group from the company Mid Europa Partners. (sbb.rs) Beta

SBB is the leading cable television and internet provider in southeastern Europe.

According to the sources, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) wishes to keep its stake in the company.
