Serbian currency weaker against euro

The Serbian dinar (RSD) on Thursday lost four paras in value against the euro (EUR), said the central bank (NBS).

The Serbian dinar (RSD) on Thursday lost four paras in value against the euro (EUR), said the central bank (NBS). The middle exchange rate is now RSD 99.1636 for EUR 1. Serbian currency weaker against euro The dinar reached its highest level against the euro on May 5, when the exchange rate was RSD 99.1051, and the lowest on January 6, when it was RSD 106.4947. Since the beginning of 2011, the central bank intervened in the interbank foreign exchange market only once by purchasing EUR 5mn in order to ease excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate.
