Serbia's trade total for January and February 2011 reached USD 4.3bn, a 22.8 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Measured in euros, the trade total was EUR 3.2bn, which is a 27.1 percent increase compared to the same period last year, head of the Statistical Office Dragan Vukmirovic said. In the first two months of this year, Serbia exported USD 1.6bn in goods, 31.6 percent more than in the same period last year, and imported USD 2.7bn or 18.1 percent more than the same period last year. According to him, the import/export ratio was 58.6 percent, more than the 52.6 percent in the same period last year.
