Serbia's main trade partners in 2010 were Germany, Russia and Italy, accounting for one third of Serbia's foreign trade. In the first 11 months of 2010, the trade with Germany was worth USD 2.5bn, with Russia USD 2.4bn, and with Italy USD 2.3bn. Serbia's top export partner in the first 11 months of 2010 was Italy, to which the country exported goods worth USD 1.02bn, followed by Bosnia-Herzegovina, which imported goods worth USD 991.5mn, and Germany with USD 928mn. Serbia's top import partner was the Russian Federation with USD 1.94bn, followed by Germany with USD 1.6bn and Italy with USD 1.29bn. Serbia's imports from Russia grew by 9.8 percent, while from Italy and Germany they dropped by 8.3 and 10 percent respectively. Serbia's highest trade deficit is with Russia, nearly USD 1.5bn, followed by China with about 1bn, Germany with 678.1mn. Serbia registered a foreign trade surplus with Montenegro (USD 590mn), Bosnia-Herzegovina (USD 478mn), and Macedonia (USD 185mn).
