The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) released that, according to the consumer price index, the inter-annual inflation for September will be around 7.5 percent. This is within the limits of the allowed deviation from this month's projected rate. Inter-annual inflation of 7.5 percent The oscillation of the inter-annual inflation in September was evaluated on the basis of retailer price growth, which amounted to 8.7 percent relative to the same month in 2009, while the costs of living reached 7.2 percent. In September, retail prices of goods and services in Serbia were higher than in the previous month by 1 percent on average, the Statistical Office released. The retail prices in September 2010 increased by 8.7 percent compared to September 2009, and by 7.7 percent in relation to December 2009. In September, the living costs in Serbia were 1.1 percent higher than in August 2010. Living costs in September 2010 were 7.2 percent higher relative to the same month previous year, and 6.6 percent higher than in December 2009.
