Deputy PM in the caretaker cabinet Bozidar Djelic (DS) has asked Greece for free visas this summer for Serbian citizens. “I hope that we will reach an agreement,” Djelic, who described Greece as a "strong lobbyist for Serbia in the EU", said after meeting with this country's Deputy Foreign Minister Yannis Valinakis. Djelic asks Greece for free visas Djelic also asked for Greece’s help with signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union and the abolishment of the visa regime for Serbian nationals. The minister from the DS ranks added that he expects Greece will "help Serbia to become a EU member candidate by the end of the year". As far as Kosovo is concerned, Djelic said that Greece continues to respect international law. “This gives us hope that Greece will persevere on the path of not recognizing the independence of Kosovo,” Djelic said.

Đelić asks Greece for free visas

Đelić also asked for Greece’s help with signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union and the abolishment of the visa regime for Serbian nationals.

The minister from the DS ranks added that he expects Greece will "help Serbia to become a EU member candidate by the end of the year".

As far as Kosovo is concerned, Đelić said that Greece continues to respect international law.

“This gives us hope that Greece will persevere on the path of not recognizing the independence of Kosovo,” Đelić said.
