The warning comes after hailstorms and heavy rain caused damage to crops and households in western, central, and eastern Serbia, prompting the authorities to declare an emergency situation in several municipalities.
A dam on the Busur River burst on Friday, flooding parts of the Petrovac-na-Mlavi municipality in the east. Svilajnac, in central Serbia, and Ljig in the west, have also been affected by floods.
Earlier in the week, a severe hailstorm and heavy rain covered the town of Uzice in western Serbia in waist-deep slush.
