The walk was organized by the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).

The citizens started their walk from Simina St. in downtown Belgrade in front of the LDP headquarters. The participants then went to the Serbian government headquarters and laid flowers at the place where Đinđić was killed.

The citizens, led by LDP leader Čedomir Jovanović, his wife Jelena, Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) leader Vuk Drašković and Social Democratic Union leader Žarko Korać, then headed toward Novo Groblje cemetery where the PM was buried.

Some streets in downtown Belgrade were temporarily closed for traffic.

“Years have passed but the time has not diminished the importance of the ideas that Zoran Đinđić promoted. This walk is an expression of respect of Zoran but also of readiness to do the job he gave his life for,” Jovanović stressed.
