Serbia will open two EU accession negotiations chapters at Tuesday's intergovernmental conference (IGC) - 5 (public procurement) and 25 (science and research).

The IGC will be attended by Serbian Minister Without Portfolio for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic, but not Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, who decided late Monday to leave Brussels after the EU had failed to reach an agreement with Croatia on lifting Zagreb's veto on also opening Chapter 26.

"I made no secret of my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the conduct of individual member states, in particular Croatia," Vucic said after a meeting with EU foreign policy and security chief Federica Mogherini.

The Serbian government has announced Vucic would hold a press conference on the issue at 18:00 CET on Tuesday.
