BELGRADE - Etihad, the strategic partner of Serbian airline Jat Airways, should take over the management of the newly-formed Air Serbia on September 1st. The size and shape of Air Serbia will be such as to ensure safety and profitability. The new organizational structure will be in line with all current and future regulatory demands for the airline, said Etihad. Management is meeting with employees this week to explain the new organizational structure and options at their disposal, which include applying to leave the company voluntarily under a redundancy program set up by the Serbian government or applying for a position in the new organization.
