"New talks in Kovacevic case" According to the paper’s source, the goal of the talks is to establish better relations between the U.S. and Serbia. The problem is not linked to the USD 1mn or USD 60mn that Serbia can get from them, but to the fact that Serbia is planning to take out a loan from the International Monetary Fund, where the U.S.’s stance in such situations can be decisive, claims the source from the government. The source adds that it has been decided that the prime minister should be the only person authorized to discuss the case.
