Bosnian Foreign Minister Sven Alkalaj says that only Kosovo citizens carrying UNMIK passports with an authorized Bosnian visa can enter that country. Alkalaj said that the ministry had no information as to how many Kosovo citizens had been refused entry to Bosnia-Hercegovina “just because they are carrying a new Kosovo passport that our authorities don’t recognize.“ "Bosnia only recognizes UNMIK passports" He said that Kosovo citizens with these passports could neither cross the Bosnian frontier, nor apply for a visa. Two months ago, Alkalaj asked the Bosnian Presidency and the Council of Ministers to define a procedure for passports and other Kosovo documents, but he received no reply. According to Sarajevo daily Dnevni Avaz, Kosovo officials are prohibited all entry to Bosnia-Hercegovina, nor can they attend regular meetings of the Regional Cooperation Council in Sarajevo.
