Metropolitan hopes “NATO will break up”

PODGORICA Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije once again said he was against Montenegro joining NATO. He also said he hoped that NATO would break up. Amfilohije believes that Montenegro would by joining the EU become a link in the military organization that “exerts violence on the entire world”. “Are we supposed to help tomahawks and bombs become ploughshares and other tools for farming and improvement of society and human community,” said the metropolitan in Herceg Novi. “God, give us wisdom to help Europeans and Americans to dissolve NATO.
