The Democratic Party (DS) says that it is too early to discuss coalitions at local level because the elections results are still not final. The party's official stance is that cooperation is possible with anyone but the Serb Radical Party (SRS). DS: Too early for coalition talk Reacting to this, G17 Plus leader Mladjan Dinkic said that his party would quit the national government if any coalition was reached with the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) at local level. “We do not have the final results yet so we cannot speak about coalitions, nor can we tell the public who we should be cooperating with and who not,” Public Administration and Local Self-Administration Minister Milan Markovic told B92 on behalf of the DS. “Maybe Dinkic should have given that message to President Tadic. It is too early for such messages. Of course, that is politics. We had similar messages before forming the state government with the Socialists, and then it turned out to be a very effective and good government,” he said. SNS deputy leader Aleksandar Vucic said that his party would be looking at coalition options on Monday with a view to forming a government in Zemun. Vucic told TV Pink that his party would be offering a coalition and would wait for answers, though he did not state whom the party would offer cooperation to.
