Leader of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) Istvan Pastor says he will meet with President Boris Tadic on Monday. Speaking for B92 TV on Thursday evening, Pastor said that the meeting will discuss the statute of Vojvodina and its jurisdiction, but also the announced changes to the Constitution, for which his party is "interested". Ethnic Hungarian leader to meet with Tadic He said that this ethnic Hungarian party feels uncomfortable because it's "formally part of the majority while, as in the case of the budget revision, it is forced to act like opposition". Although he says he is satisfied with an agreement reached with the government to rearrange the budget money for the province, Pastor admits that part of the funds set aside for the municipalities are now goings to the Vojvodina budget, which secured that Vojvodina would get seven percent of the state budget. "When we look at the structure of the seven percent, we see that a huge amount of that money is transfer money, which runs through the Vojvodina budget," he said.
