While it might be interesting to see another Serb-dominant state strategically placed in Central/Southeastern Europe, in my experience, the only people who are that adamant about an independent Vojvodina are Hungarian Americans who spend way too much time lamenting over Trianon and Albanians who, for reasons that I can only surmise are their own, just love to carve up other people's states.

I strongly support the independence of Vojvodina. Vojvodina cannot function as part of Serbia thus secession is the only solution.

Yes, it would be an interesting solution. Let's play with the phantasy.

Vojvodina declaring independence on Monday, joining Hungary on Tuesday.

On Wednesday the Hungarian authorities kick out every non-citizen from a foreign country, citizens of Trollistan will be the first ones to go - with nowhere to return.

The lession: better sit in Serbia quietly, than trolling about Vojvodina Republic loudly. :-P

Lobbyst,

It would be helpful if you actually lived there before making such a ridiculous comment. Just because you have an ethnic and/or religious background to the 65+% of residents of the province does not mean that secession is the only solution.

A greater share of the Belgrade budget would be more of a solution and more agreeable to the residents of Vojvadina.

I strongly support to independence of Srpka Krajina, RS and N Kosovo. It is clear that the Serbians cannot live in Croatia, Bosnia and Albania...

I also strongly support the independence of Scotland, French Basque, Kurdistan, Texas, Quebec, Ireland, Sunderland and Sicily.

Heck, why don't we all lobby the UN to make single person states. Democracy, or Monarchy for all. Depends on what you like. Then all 6 billion of us can shuffle into the UN building for international meetings.

Hell, I think that the smoking age should be reduced to 12.

Of course lobbyists tend to make as much logical sense as the money that they're paying their target. I should start emptying my coffers. ;)
