Four former members of a Special Police Unit have been arrested on suspicion of committing war crimes in Kosovo, B92 has learned from MUP. Some of the crimes were committed on the orders of the then Yugoslav leadership and Serbian Interior Ministry, while others were independently conceived and planned by senior police officers. Police officers arrested for Kosovo war crimes Radoslav Mitrovic, commander of the 37th Special Police Units (PJP), is already on trial at the Belgrade District Court’s War Crimes Chamber for ordering the murders of Albanian civilians, among them women and children, in Suva Reka on March 26, 1999.
