Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) deputy leader Slobodan Samardzic has said the agreement on cutsoms stamps represents capitulation of the Serbian government. The government has made an important step toward renouncing Kosovo, he noted. Opposition DSS accuses govt. of "capitulation" “Certainly, when you accept the customs stamp, you also accept Kosovo Customs and Albanian border police at the border crossings that used to be administrative crossing until now,” the DSS official said. He pointed out that this way “Serbia has made another important step toward renouncing Kosovo for the sake of an inadequate compensation, the EU candidacy”. “The candidacy itself represents an eternal waiting room for the EU membership,” Samardzic said. “Certainly, when you accept the customs stamp, you also accept Kosovo Customs and Albanian border police at the border crossings that used to be administrative crossing until now,” the DSS official said.

He pointed out that this way “Serbia has made another important step toward renouncing Kosovo for the sake of an inadequate compensation, the EU candidacy”.
