Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic said that police were searching for Hague fugitives Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic round the clock. He told daily Press that should Mladic become a suspect in crimes not included in the Hague Tribunal indictment, the War Crimes Prosecution would start a financial investigation against him, in line with the law on confiscation of property obtained through criminal activity. Prosecutor: Non-stop search for fugitives The Serbian war crimes prosecutor believes it would be best to entrust the investigation into the allegations of organ trafficking in Kosovo to an independent special investigator. "We will wait for the UN's response regarding an independent investigation that Serbia is advocating. If the UN definitely gives the mandate to EULEX, we will cooperate with them. The best solution is an independent special investigator, or, if one is not appointed, a joint investigation by EULEX, the Albanians and our prosecutor's office," Vukcevic was quoted as saying.
