A man was hurt last night in an attempted robbery near Simanovci, the Serbian police, MUP, said. Four Slovenian citizens, all originally from Kosovo – including 22-year-old Halili H., who suffered the injuries – were attacked some five kilometers from the Simanovci toll gate when unknown perpetrators asked them to hand over their money. Man hurt during botched robbery The victim, who was stabbed with a sharp object, police said, was taken to the emergency center where he received medical treatment. His wounds were described as not life-threatening. The victim tried to stand up to the robbers, which is when he got hurt. After this, the attackers fled in the direction of Simanovci, while the four Slovenian citizens drove back to a nearby gas station and called the police.
