President Boris Tadic says Belgrade had done all in its power to reach an agreement with the UN on the reconfiguration of the civilian mission in Kosovo. Now, Tadic told reporters after meeting his Bulgarian counterpart Georgi Parvanov in Belgrade on Wednesday, Serbia expects the agreed solutions from the six-point plan to be implemented. Tadic: Belgrade insists on six-point plan "This agreement is not directed against any of the sides; rather, it preserves the integrity and rights of all who participate in this frozen conflict. Serbia wants to find a solution that will be sustainable in the next period and that will protect the interests of all interested parties," Tadic said. Under the agreement on the deployment of EULEX, Serbia will define its red lines, i.e. what is acceptable and unacceptable for Belgrade, and will contribute to stability and EU integration throughout the region through this constructive approach to the resolution of the problem, he said. Tadic added that the relations with Bulgaria had been on "the top level" until the government in Sofia decided to recognize the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo Albanians, and that Belgrade now voiced its will and readiness to improve its relations with Bulgaria. Parvanov said that his country supported Serbia's insistence on the status neutrality of the EULEX mission in Kosovo. "Serbia's constructive approach to EULEX is positive. As an EU member, Bulgaria believes that EULEX should be deployed and that it is good for it to be status-neutral," Parvanov was quoted as saying. Parvanov, Tadic in Belgrade on Wednesday (Tanjug)
