"No decision on Kosovo from G8"

“We have to find out how much ‘room there is to maneuver’ through discussions,” Merkel said, adding that it will be hard to find a compromise between U.S. and Russian stances on the Kosovo situation.

“I think that it must be rushed, we have to decide soon,” Merkel said, adding that it is not just the stances of the U.S. and Russia that differ, but of Russia and the EU.
