Albanian soprano Inva Mula to perform in Belgrade

The world-renowned soprano, whose performance is realized within the framework of the recently signed Protocol on Cooperation between the National Theater in Belgrade and the National Theater of Opera and Ballet in Tirana, will perform the role of Mimi.

The repertoire of this artist, born in Tirana, includes a wide range of roles, including in operas such Lucia di Lammermoor, Manon, The Elixir of Love, Falstaff, Mireille, La Traviata, and Rigoletto.

Mula is a laureate of various international competitions (Barcelona, ​​Bucharest, Paris) and the winner of numerous awards in her country. She has performed at La Scala, the Paris Opera, as well as opera theaters in Brussels, Munich, Oslo, Trieste, Toulouse, Verona, Tokyo, Bilbao, Toronto.

Mula has published several CDs from various concert performances in France and Japan. She is best known to international audiences as the voice of the Diva Plavalaguna in the movie The Fifth Element.

Mula's parents were both opera singers - her father of Avni was born in Djakovica, and her mother Nina in Izhevsk, Russia.
