BELGRADE President Tomislav Nikolic decorated on Monday Serbian police (MUP) officer Miroslav Stamenkovic posthumously for bravery and personal heroism. The president's press service said that the 27-year-old was an honorable, honest and heroic man, who gave his life in the line of duty as a police officer. President honors police officer posthumously Stamenkovic was killed on December 14 while attempting to stop a jewelry store robbery in Vlasotince, southeastern Serbia.
