The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra recently issued a tongue-in-cheek "call for tender", pledging its support to the party that offers the highest bid. It has in the meantime been announced that the "tender" failed as no offers arrived - despite the promise of the orchestra's "public support for the political party that offers the most money". "The suggestion made by Tasovac is politically cynical, but this is necessary and I am in favor of politicians competing in building socially important institutions. Everything that's in the interest of culture, arts, sports, should receive support and I will continue to do that as I have done before, regardless of anyone's proposals," Dacic was quoted as saying.
