Another B92 Fund humanitarian aid convoy has reached a Serb enclave in Kosovo, two months after the start of the campaign. 27 tons of food were delivered to the village of Prekovce near Novo Brdo. The food delivered to the village soup kitchens will suffice for the next six months, reporters were told. Previously, the B92 Fund push to provide help for the hungry - part of the Food for All campaign - saw the delivery of 90 tons of food to soup kitchens in the Kosovsko Pomoravlje District. Majka Devet Jugovica NGO President Svetlana Stevic praised the B92 Fund for the campaign, and said her organization had opened six soup kitchens "where 1,830 poor persons, 80 children among them, receive meals each day". But Stevic noted that there were many people going hungry in the enclave of Strpce as well, that more such facilities were needed, and called on donors to join the campaign and make sure the existing soup kitchens stay open.
