About 2000 military reservists protested last night in the center of Kursumlija. The reservists continue to demand wages they claim they are still owed dating back to the Kosovo conflict of 1999. Reservists continue protest The reservists marched through the town and stopped in front of buildings where local authority administrators and the president of the municipal court live. Whistles and slogans were directed at the municipal president’s house, accusing him of selective and illegal distribution of reservists’ wages through court manipulation. The protest was monitored closely and secured by police officers. The demonstration ended without incident. According to announcements, protests will continue tonight.
