Police have boosted patrols in north-west Kosovo after an armed group <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/society-article.php?yyyy=2007&mm=07&dd=15&nav_category=113&nav_id=42434" class="text-link" target= "_blank">fired shots </a>at a police patrol Saturday.

Kosovo police boost patrols after incident
According to Elshani the police patrol came under fire as it investigated complaints made by local people in the village of Radiševo.Villagers called the police and claimed that an armed and uniformed group was seen in the area. The police patrol, having arrived at the suspected spot, came across the group.
“The patrol returned the fire and asked for help,” Elshani said, adding that no one was wounded in the incident.
The Kosovo Police Service, backed by NATO-led international peacekeepers, KFOR, is investigating the area where the incident happened.
