Daily Vijesti writes that Montenegrin leaders are concealing their tactics for the upcoming General Assembly session. The daily states that President Filip Vujanovic and Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic have avoided giving any direct answers to questions concerning whether Montenegro will support the Serbian initiative to seek the opinion of the International Court of Justice regarding Kosovo’s unilateral independence declaration. “Montenegro playing cards close to chest” Vijesti quotes sources from the government, stating that once a resolution is passed in parliament on October 3 pertaining to the acceleration of Montenegro’s EU and Euro-Atlantic integration processes, Djukanovic’s cabinet is then expected to take a stance on the Kosovo issue. “Prior to that, the UN General Assembly is expected to decide on Serbia’s initiative. If it fails, Montenegro will announce its recognition of Kosovo soon afterwards,” Vijesti states.
