Four of six persons accused of committing war crimes near Kotor are in custody, media in Montenegro are reporting. The charges against them include torture, inhumane treatment and violation of physical integrity of prisoners brought from the Dubrovnik front in Croatia, to the Morinj camp near the Montenegrin seaside town. Montenegro: War crimes arrests The suspects, identified as Mladjen Govedarica, Ivo Gojnic, Spiro Lucic and Boro Gligic, face an indictment alleging that they ordered and took part in the execution of these crimes from October 3, 1991, until August 18, 1992. The remaining two suspects, Zlatko Tarle and Ivo Menzalin, are said to be in Belgrade. 169 prisoners of war and civilians were the victims of the Morinj war crimes, according to the indictment.

Montenegro: War crimes arrests

The suspects, identified as Mlađen Govedarica, Ivo Gojnić, Špiro Lučić and Boro Gligić, face an indictment alleging that they ordered and took part in the execution of these crimes from October 3, 1991, until August 18, 1992.

The remaining two suspects, Zlatko Tarle and Ivo Menzalin, are said to be in Belgrade.

169 prisoners of war and civilians were the victims of the Morinj war crimes, according to the indictment.
