It has also been reported that Thaci's reaction came "after supporters of the Self-Determination movement threw stones at a convoy of buses carrying Serbs from the Kosovo Pomoralje near Labljane, after which 30 buses went back."

According to reports, a total of more than 60 buses carrying supporters of Aleksandar Vucic and his SNS party have been prevented from reaching Leposavic and attending a rally organized as part of Vucic's presidential campaign.

Earlier in the day, European Commission spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic said that the EU was demanding from the authorities in Kosovo to enable all those who wish to attend rallies in the north of Kosovo to do so.
