Ivica Dačić, Serbian first deputy prime minister and foreign minister, will pay a visit to Russia October 6-8, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.

Dačić starts 3-day visit to Russia

On October 7, Dačić is scheduled to partake in the 13th session of the Intergovernmental committee on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation between Serbia and the Russian Federation in the capacity of co-chairman of the mixed committee and the head of the Serbian delegation.

The meeting will discuss the preparations for the forthcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Belgrade.

On October 8, Dačić will attend the opening of the agricultural fair entitled Golden Autumn in Moscow, which is expected to be opened by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Serbian Minister of Agriculture Snežana Bogosavljević-Bošković will also visit Moscow as member of the Serbian delegation, the Ministry of Agriculture said.

She will also attend the 13th session of the Intergovernmental committee on trade, economic and scientific and technical cooperation between Serbia and the Russian Federation and the opening of the agricultural fair entitled Golden Autumn in Moscow.

Bogosavljević-Bošković will confer with Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fyodorov on promotion of the bilateral cooperation in the area of agriculture, which is greatly important for Serbia, the ministry's statement reads.
